Resources for our outdoor environment

In KS1 our environment helps children to apply their learning in a secure and safe, yet challenging space. At Red Barn all areas of learning are available and children have free flow access to the outdoor environment during continuous provision.

If you have any items featured on the list below and do not mind donating them, we would be incredibly grateful.

Listed below are some of the resources we are looking for:

  • Old baking and kitchen utensils (cupcake trays, rolling pins, colanders, ice cream scoops,
    measuring jugs etc.)
  • Paint rollers and brushes of different sizes
  • Fishing nets
  • Loose parts such as curtain hooks, nuts, screws and bolts
  • Real tools (screw drivers or spanners)
  • Buckets, spades and funnels (similar water or sand toys)
  • Small World Toys (people, animals, cars, trains, car/train track, dolls house items etc)
  • Prams for dolls (for school aged children)
  • Balls e.g. tennis ball sized
  • Bikes/scooters
  • Stationery (scissors, pens, stickers, notebooks)

If you have any of these items to donate to the school please drop them off at the school
office or give to Miss Barfoot before or after school.

Thank you for your continued co-operation and support.
